Remembering what happened, remembering what can happen……the 3000 innocent people and their families. Remembering the children who will never know their fathers and mothers. And those magnificent buildings.
Aye an event that changed the course of history. One of those moments everyone remembers where they were when it happened and what they were doing. RIP to all that lost their lives that day and condolences to all the people who lost family members as well as best wishes to all those who were physically injured or mentally scared on that day.
We were living in New York in 1970/71 when they were going up. My job was down near Battery Place, each day seeing the progress from close up, was an event. Later in life I attended meetings there regularly, I would have been there 2 weeks after they went down.
It was such a strange day 25 years ago. It certainly felt like something momentous had happened. Nice thoughts Stav.
