Wildberries is responsible for over 50% of all online or retail sales in Russia. By far the largest retailer, known as the Russian Amazon.

Since mid‑July 2026, Ukraine has repeatedly struck Wildberries warehouses across Russia.
12 facilities had been reported hit in around 2 weeks. Around 2 billion of stock has been destroyed so far.

Wildberries policy change: Wildberries updated its seller terms in early July 2026 to classify hostilities/drone strikes as force majeure, limiting its liability for destroyed stock; this has caused major controversy and financial strain for sellers.

@bobbok "Wildberries is the largest Russian online retailer. It was founded in 2004 by Tatyana Kim.[6] Besides Russia, Wildberries serves the United Arab Emirates, and former Soviet republics Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.[7][8] Until 2022, the company had services in France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States. Wildberries sells 37,000 brands of clothing, shoes, cosmetics, household products, children's goods, electronics, books, jewelry, food and much more. With 48,000 employees as of 2020, Wildberries processes an average of 750,000 online orders per day.[9]

It's online groceries and household products...not a military target...

Self-defence. Russia has been attacking civilian targets for like 5 years.
Russians were happy to allow this war to go along, now they have skin in the game

”Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the Wildberries logistics center in Krasny Bor near St. Petersburg. Burning again,” read an update from the Defense of Ukraine on Tuesday. “Russian logistics, dismantled one hub at a time.”

The social media statement was accompanied by a video showcasing a large, white-painted building engulfed in flames.

“Wildberries was used to distribute military and dual-use goods,” read the caption across the footage. “We will continue dismantling the enemy’s logistics.”

Good for them ...if you get hit unprovoked, hit back harder and don't stop until the enemy is stopped and can't attack you ever again.

@bobbok ...this war should never have happened in the 1st place...but for whatever reason it did... I'm surprised and happy that Ukraine has been able to at least stand their own till now ... didn't think it possible...and I hope they can ramp things up a bit and make the Ruskies very sorry... unbelievable to think that this can happen in Europe in this day and age.
