I'm actually surprised he has as many as 12 touches. Most are probably from fielding kicks.

You complained just as much last year ... until after the second test vs NZ... don't you ever play Poker?

@DbDraad no one's asking to run everything. But take some risks, back yourself every now and then. Look at some of the kicks we put up on Saturday. We get turnover possession, there's men aplenty outside, up into the air it goes. Jesus I know getting turned over when you move the ball away from your core is always a risk but have the balls to actually play RUGBY occasionally for crying out loud. I detest this damage control style of rugby - "what can we do that have the least risk of turning sour?" Who wants to watch that shit?

@Pakie Can’t help feeling Tony ball will be consigned to the rubbish bin for this series Pakie. Rassie will revert to the safest option of just booting the ball and obtaining penalties from superior scrummaging. Hope I’m wrong……

The stats are undisputed, however, they're defined by unique factors which in a sense makes it an unfair comparison. Start with comparisons between the style of play of the two teams to find an answer. One runs and passes the ball more than the other, why, just on the most recent game someone here noted that the Bok wing hardly received the ball.
To make a fair and accurate comparison, hypothetically swop Kolbe with Jordan across the teams.

That's the point, Denny.

Kolbe, one of the best rugby players planet earth has ever produced, hardly ever gets the ball. He lives off of scraps.

Hence the title of the post...it's a crime against rugby!
