Easily the best team to watch this last URC season and only a few untimely injuries saw them fall apart at the back end.
One could almost, if not entirely, excuse Cash for adopting an aimless kicking game once he'd lost the services of his rocks in the pack and backs when Mills and Venter both got injured.
Kinda disgusting that Francke didn't even get an alignment camp call up after the season he had and how bravely he lead his team of nobodies. Still think he's not a bad shout as a PSDT replacement since he provides a lineout opinion, is probably our best tall guy in the trams, has a knack for reading the game and has better gainline success and tackle completion than PSDT. Apparently, Rassie doesn't agree.
Anyhoos the Lions have signed Boan and also Ethan Adams this year. Just a pity they could't secure Moyo or Yaqeen.
Tonight's game won't be a dull. It'll actually be a good watch and the Lions will play with no fear.
I'm hoping Francke sticks it to Rassie by putting in an excellent armband and playing performance.
