Nothing has been made of this until Renee started WHINGING.

@moolaa it really looks like Rennie and the AB, has no anwser to the Boks Scrum power. Therefore he moaned after the first test and it looked like his moaning worked.
Gardner was blowing up the scrums like crazy and we didn't get the dominance like in the first test? Also the scrums kept on collapsing on the AB throw-in. Reset after reset...
How many times did we see the Boks still up, the entire AB front row bellyflop and Gardner calls a reset? Also, how is Gardner telling Marx not to move his brakefoot? Like, Marx can't control what is happening behind or in front of him and he has to adjust his foot or else it becomes a safety concern. That's literally the reason it was brought in.
The scrum is on its last legs. WR don't want a strong scrum...they want moneyball only.

It is where the game is going. They believe the traditions of rugby is no longer valid. Look at the club rugby first.
Do you see European or any other team really scrum scrum scrum and maul these days. Scores are high. We often see both teams hit 30 or even 40 these days.
The England club game has now become touch rugby. The Irish teams like to toss each other off. The french play with big forwards but also off the cuff rugby. Somehow they forgotten what test rugby should be about.
Tense, low margin, hanging on every collision, tackle , line out.
Now it is fucking circus rugby, DJ blasting tunes during the game that you can't hear the crows. Fireworks, planes skimming the roof and a half time show with a stage and dancers on the pitch.
Normally you would be on the edge of the seat, not it is just side show after side show.
You should be able to hear a pin drop, you should feel the tension. People should be knocking the beers back etc.
World Rugby is obsessed trying to make it global..
