@Pakie Try hard is not the definition of a test rugby level player. If Du Toit had never played a test, we'd have lost nothing. That's not being overly harsh. He is in fact a squad player. A guy you plug in to fill a gap. The way Johann Muller was under Jake.

Willemse has been superb in the air but not found a way to inject himself into the attack. McKenzie by contrast has been able to do that very effectively.

Du Toit is measured against Vaa’i at blindside flank. Vaa’i was by far the more influential player last week. This week he played lock.

Two selections made based on the match influence. McKenzie 41 metres to 8 for Willemse this week. 49 metres to 21 metres last week. McKenzie was the more influential player. Vaa’i gets the nod over Dud for his superbly executed try assist last week.

@Doos XL, I said we got very lucky with the draw in the 2007 RWC, I never tried to pretend we didn't win it.

The one half of the draw in 2007 was England, Australia, New Zealand and France.

Our half of the draw was us, Fiji, Scotland and Argentina.

As if that wasn't lucky enough, the team coming through the other half of the draw was the same team we smashed 36-0 in the group stages.

I'd call that lucky, wouldn't you?

Still, you can only beat what's in front of you and I celebrated our win as hard as anyone. Never once said we didn't deserve to win it.

I’m a Pollard fan, have always been. But Sacha and our wings are the players that give us attacking options at the moment. And with Dud Allende at 12 and Reinach at 10….we need the spark of Sacha. I have looked at the game several times and he got through a lot of important work.

With Sacha there I believe we will win this one. Geraasmus has been saved from another tactical blunder and hopefully he won’t make as many mistakes as last week

Rooinek it’s a plausible Sting, I do like to document things. But if you are going for a Sting…..post a message somewhere where it’s out of the way, but can be reproduced to prove your intent.
