Team to play Argentina . . .
Fassi at 15 again?!
Looks like Rassie is hoping 5th march is a charm.
The guys is eating up minutes from Horn
Number of experience players will have to prove themselves.
Interesting to see Libbok rested, Pollard on the bench and Sasha in the pounding seat.
Lood, Eben and Kolisi are our highest risk players.
Will they be fit, or is it too soon to include them for AB
I have serious doubts about the center situation Despite Sacha being around the center situation is poor and representative of the malfunctiong Sharks backline in the URC.. Fassie was shit this year and Hooker not producing anything,
I also doubt why a geriatiric lock situation is to be used - with Etzebeth having doune zero in the URC this year and De Jager is injury prone. As to the loosie situation Hanekom played for the Bulls in 2 matches this year an played but produced zilch and Van Staden is a hopeles stuation of idiocy as a loosie - whilke Kolisi is not even remoely the best 6 in SA.
The team looks iffy - but I hope they can win despite the selecions, but have serious dounts about the selected team.
.
Locks like Ruben van Heerden or Cobus Wiese prove we can go without Lood. And the centre-pairing of Esterhuizen and Moodie is really good in my opinion.
Remember the All Black game played at Twickenham? That's where they played together and did really well. We won that game comfortably.
Cameron Hanekom at 8 and Elrigh at 7 is an exciting proposition. I hope they do well.
@Denny...I'm with you...he hasn't done much in the Bok jumper, but like Roos he hasn't had a proper look...hope he does well...same for Cam...just potential at this stage.
Hope Cam gets a good run, he hasn't had a big Bok performance yet. I agree with X on Moodie at 13, he didn't impress much there in the URC, looked better on the wing. Hopefully the Bok structure can sort out the issues. Not a bad side that, I wish we could move past Reinach though and of course Fassi remains the weak link until he proves otherwise.
Elrigh hasn’t done much in the Bools’ jumper since his injury. Nor has Dixon impressed. The thing is, loosies unlike props and to some extent locks, tend to show early They simply didn’t spot Deon Fourie whose role in our WC win is vastly underrated…..made 21 tackles missing only one, while assuming the hookers role.
Sorry - but he was useless at flank too He is not physocal enough to compete at brealdowns and was a major handicap .in the 2023 RWC final.
If you really want to see a really top class openside loosie look no futher than Paul de Villiers.
@clevermike ... shame on you :-(
