Hold on, wasn’t I supposed to have chased Cloudy off the Board….all happening after years of being polite to her. Just couldn't help yourself could you?.....you just had to buy into something that has little to nothing to do with you. I don't remember you chasing Cloudy off the board even though you might have put in your 5 cents in an acrimonious and monotonous non sensical argument. Same as with Dave.

But if you blaming me for why they left I wouldn't be one bit surprised even though I tried to put a stop to it.

I’ve chosen to leave you in peace, offering my sympathy for the loss of your lifelong partner. I felt it was right to show respect to someone I’d only briefly met, even though our friendship has ended.

So where are you going with this? Oh I know, you go ahead, you've made a habit of surprising me.

In the meantime your buddy Plum makes a habit of dropping snide comments about me in his posts to you.

So you back to our private emails which goes back 10 maybe 12 years ago if not more. There's been a lot of changes and Cloudy and Dave needn't be my personal friends for me to speak out in the interest of this board. As a matter of fact I have a deep respect for the lady as I have for a number of years.

If I had the hate for her that you say I have then I would have made that clear on this board.....at the time.

I really don't need to explain that to you, it wouldn't matter as clearly once again you want to rehash and dramatize old private emails. If that's the way you want to play then go for it. If I've learnt something in life then it's not to trust anyone. Thanks for the lesson.

I'm actually sorry to have lost the deep felt respect I once had for you.

I will keep posting about Trump or anyone else and won’t be intimidated or afraid of your relentless attempts to paint a negative picture of me. That I promise you.

Actually It's very easy to be your friend....one only has to cozy up to you. Puts a cheap price on a friendship dontcha think?

Lastly, just bye the bye, in your free time which you seem to have in abundance, how's about signing up a poster to this site? Perhaps one of your many friends?

TDS is what the cult members say when they don't want to deal with reality.

Anyhoos, apparently the DOJ have drummed up a whole bunch of fake charges cos Orange Man said so, and now I guess we just wait for the entire case to fall apart and the "victim" to sue the state for wrongful arrest.

It's relevant to the topic. The point I was originally made on this thread was this SPLC stuff accusations and charges were politically motivated. You asked for examples of other times the Trump administration engaged in politically motivated arrests, I listed one and provided an example of another politically motivated investigation. You didn't acknowledge either two examples instead you just out of hand dismissed the idea that the Trump administration pursues politically motivated investigations with a variant of that other old classic Trump defence, orange man bad.

Probably not but then again I doubt Homer (if he actually existed) ever visualized his Greek spoken poem being converted into a form of entertainment inconceivable at the time. A form spoken in Americanised English, that isn't a poem and features a raft of historical inaccuracies for the time period and also make several changes to the plot.

But none of that ever bothers the anti woke mob. It's just the casting of a black women and a trans man that bothers them.

But way to miss the point. This woke movie has made over $1.3 billion at the box from a budget of $250 million. Go woke go broke my arse. Oh this is the part where I add LMAO!

I actually ‘butted in’ to express my dislike of casting people in movies to achieve woke objectives, thus reducing the authenticity of the work. You then, not being able to argue the point, raised the movie’s financial success. And then dishonestly tried to link me to a view that because it was woke it couldn’t be a financial success. Which of course is nonsense. The Movie Studio executives are well aware of these trends and will always favor box office success. That doesn’t make it something we should support. Can you grasp the point or do I have to make it even simpler for you?

And yes, your using financial success as an argument when denigrating others doing exactly that is pure hypocrisy.

Mozart21 Aug 2026, 03:13

No allegiance, I think Trump has made plenty of mistakes. Iran may turn out to be one of those. Not because the idea of taking on a regime, like the Nazis, that has a global domination vision and is trying to get nukes…but because it hasn’t been well executed. Likewise on immigration, the idea is right but it should have focused mostly on the future and known criminals. Much of his denigration of others serves no useful purpose. My choice for the Republican ticket was Ron de Santis but he never had the national support.

But unlike almost every recent Western leader Trump has been willing to address crucial issues, got NATO to do its fair share, in his first term he deconstructed ISIS and the economy is doing very well given the mess he inherited from Biden. There are also millions of people alive today because of the Covid vaccine, which he pushed through despite the science naysaying on the schedule.

So now tell me when did you or Stavanger or Hysteria or Rooinek acknowledge he did one thing right. Never. Every day we get the next version of low class humor from the political hacks and comedians who seem to have nothing to say that doesn’t start with Trump.

So who are the brain washed posters? It’s pretty obvious,

That has a global domination vision.

And he labels another posters Hysteria.

But unlike almost every recent Western leader Trump has been willing to address crucial issues, got NATO to do its fair share

Dishonest representation. You will go on to claim that people never give Trump credit, but his supporters constantly grossly overstate his achievements. In Trump's first term the number of NATO countries hitting the 2% spending target increased from 6 to 9. During Bidens terms it increased from 9 to 23. It's now at 32. While US pressure may have play some role the overwhelming motivator to increase spending was Russia's invasion of Ukraine. So the man who should be most credit with NATO's increased spending by far is Valdimir Putin.

in his first term he deconstructed ISIS

ISIS was already on the way to defeat. He came in at the half way point. He likely accelerated their defeat but their defeat was already certain.

Guess you haven't heard of the K shaped economy. How was that last jobs report. How's inflation, hows the national debt?

As for the vaccines, again typical mass overexaggerating in his role. He cleared the regulatory path for quick development for vaccines but that was something any President would likely would have done. He absolutely butchered the handling of the pandemic hence these Fauci show trails we have now.

So now tell me when did you or Stavanger or Hysteria or Rooinek acknowledge he did one thing right. Never

You gone senile old man. This isn't the first time you've accused me of this. So I'll set the record straight again. I've credited him several times. Firstly on Operation Warpspeed, the Abraham Accords, even though they failed I thought his attempt to negotiate with North Korea was worth a short. I credited him with at living up to his campaign pledge to bring down immigration even though I strongly disagreed with his methods and I acknowledged he forced the EU into a trade deal which the US came out the stronger of the two. (Do you not remember gloating when I did so?)

So carry on strawmaning and not looking in the mirror. That brainwashing is strong eh?

That has a global domination vision.

The primary example of militant Islam (or militant Islamism/jihadism) is to overthrow existing political systems and establish strict Islamic governance based on a fundamentalist interpretation of Sharia law. Adherents seek to reshape society, remove Western influence from Muslim-majority lands, and ultimately unify the Muslim world.Core ObjectivesEstablish Islamic States: Create governments ruled by a strict, literal interpretation of religious law (Sharia).Impose Cultural Purity: Purge local Muslim societies of practices and Western cultural influences they view as corrupt or un-Islamic.Wage Jihad: Use armed struggle (jihad) as a primary tool to fight perceived enemies, local secular regimes, and foreign military intervention.Global or Regional Unification: Unite Muslim territories, often envisioned as restoring a transnational Islamic state or caliphate.

…………………………….

While US pressure may have play some role the overwhelming motivator to increase spending was Russia's invasion of Ukraine. So the man who should be most credit with NATO's increased spending by far is Valdimir Putin.
….

Convenient. But the war started in early 2022 and yet in 2025 when Trump became President this happened
Countries that moved from below 2% in 2024 to ≥2% in 2025 were essentially:
Belgium
Canada
Croatia
Italy
Luxembourg
Montenegro
North Macedonia
Portugal
Slovenia
Spain.

………………..

He likely accelerated their defeat but their defeat was already certain.

Chat’s view:

‘ISIS still controlled a substantial amount of territory when Trump entered office. IHS Markit estimated ISIS territory at approximately:
January 2015: 35,000 sq mi
January 2016: 30,100 sq mi
January 2017: 23,300 sq mi
So ISIS had lost roughly one-third of its peak territory before Trump, but a lot remained.
And the remaining territory included some extremely difficult objectives. Western Mosul involved months of brutal urban combat. Mosul wasn't fully liberated until July 2017, and Raqqa wasn't captured until October 2017.
Interestingly, the territorial collapse accelerated considerably during Trump's first year. Brett McGurk, the U.S. envoy who served under both Obama and Trump, said in December 2017 that ISIS had then lost about 98% of its territory and that approximately half of all territory ever recovered from ISIS had been recovered during the preceding 11 months.‘

Trump destroyed ISIS

……….

Guess you haven't heard of the K shaped economy. How was that last jobs report. How's inflation, hows the national debt?

**Oh dear the woke meets the real economy. Try looking at real numbers GNP per capita growth. **

……….

He cleared the regulatory path for quick development for vaccines but that was something any President would likely would have done

No any President would have followed the science and the science said:

The scientific consensus in 2020 viewed President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed timeline of delivering a COVID-19 vaccine in under a year with deep skepticism. While experts supported financial backing for development, they warned that a late-2020 or early-2021 vaccine was historically unprecedented, raising fears that safety protocols might be compromised by political pressure

………….

You gone senile old man

No Sonny boy I still have enough marbles to deal with a shallow thinker like you. Your idea of giving credit is to say something vaguely positive and then tear it down. So produce the actual cut and paste and I’ll tell you whether it qualifies.

The conflict between Ireland and Britain actually spans roughly 800 years rather than 600, beginning with the Anglo-Norman invasion in 1169 under King Henry II. While the timeline is often referred to in popular culture as "800 years of conflict," the relationship involved periods of deep subjugation interspersed with complex political integration, local alliances, and eventual independence.Key Historical PhasesThe Norman Incursion (12th–15th Centuries): Anglo-Norman lords arrived in 1169, establishing the Lordship of Ireland. English control fluctuated, shrinking over time to an area around Dublin known as "The Pale," while Gaelic clans maintained traditional laws outside it.Tudor Conquest and Plantations (16th–17th Centuries): The Tudor reconquest fully subjugated Ireland. Britain instituted "Plantations," confiscating Catholic-owned land and settling Scottish and English Protestants in provinces like Ulster.Cromwellian Conquest and Penal Laws: Oliver Cromwell’s brutal military campaign (1649–1653) devastated the population. Afterward, severe Penal Laws stripped Irish Catholics of political, economic, and religious rights. The Act of Union (1800): Ireland was formally merged into the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, abolishing the Irish parliament and shifting direct governance to Westminster. The Great Famine (1840s): Mismanagement and rigid laissez-faire economic policies by the British government during the potato blight led to mass starvation, death, and emigration, permanently souring relations.Independence and Partition (1921–1949): Following the Easter Rising (1916) and the War of Independence, the Anglo-Irish Treaty partitioned the island in 1921. Twenty-six counties became the independent Irish Free State (later the Republic of Ireland), while six northeastern counties remained part of the UK as Northern Ireland. The Troubles and Modern Relations: Discrimination against the Catholic minority in Northern Ireland triggered decades of sectarian violence known as "The Troubles" from the late 1960s until the Good Friday Agreement in 1998. Today, relations between the UK and the Republic of Ireland are close and cooperative, though governance questions around Northern Ireland and Brexit persist.

@bobbok …..read and learn:

After the Boer War, British High Commissioner Alfred Milner’s administration and the 1903–05 Lagden Commission advocated a common South African policy based upon territorial, political and urban separation. Its recommendations anticipated much of the segregation enacted between 1910 and 1948. The 1913 Natives Land Act, for example, confined African landholding principally to reserves comprising about 7% of the country. South African History Online

…..

The real world is much more complex than the world you think you know.

@bobbok an even simpler reality check...

"Slavery and social stratification existed in parts of Africa long before European colonialism and the Atlantic slave trade. African kingdoms and societies participated in internal and long-distance slave trades across the Sahara, Red Sea, and Indian Ocean, with people enslaved through warfare, raiding, debt, punishment, and trade. Some societies also maintained hereditary social classes and restrictions based on ancestry, occupation, ethnicity, religion, or slave status, although these systems should not automatically be equated with modern racial segregation. Slavery also has not disappeared: according to the latest major regional estimate, based on 2021 data, approximately 7 million people in Africa are living in modern slavery, including about 3.8 million in forced labour and 3.1–3.2 million in forced marriage."

Slavery and segregation were in Africa long before your enemy the white man came here.

So, again, I ask you, where are your posts about modern day slavery in Africa?

You don't want to talk about it because you're a racist that wants to blame whites for everything. And that's why you so readily swallow up the Orange Man is Racist narrative.

It's all very transparent Blobbie.
