Bulle tweede span will probably be as disappointing. Saw the same whenever the Brit Lions are on tour & the provinces exclude their top tier.

No surprises in the end result although I'm sure many expected a better effort from the Sharks. There also has to be a question mark hanging over the head of JP as a coach. The Sharks lacked a credible game plan, tactically bankrupt for sure.

I see it's dawning on the oaks that what I said about fielding second string sides against the wee ab ballarinas was going to kill these games was 100 percent right
The entire Bulls pack will be missing when they play the Abs.
Things could surely have been arranged better
I think the wee gups played as well as they could but never had a chance. As with the Stormers it's a real question if both the Stormers and Sharks at full strength could have won.
9nly the Boks world class players, those that can't be replaced needed perhaps to be put in cotton wool. Our guys won't have played for weeks.
So don't be disappointed if the Bulls get hammered as well. Who knows but maybe the Lions will do a tad better.

What a pathetic second half by the Sharks

JP is out of his depth evidenced by not even having Rahl in the original 23

Moyo was clearly under instruction to kick virtually every ball he received skywards

Manu Tsituka was good in the forwards and JJ had some good runs

That’s where it ended

The Sharks appear to be cursed. It seems no one understands the game plan, and changing coaches has not had an impact.

The All Blacks played well and were always going to win, but that was an embarrassment, a total disgrace.
It looked like a pub team of amateurs.

It may just be easier to fire the coaches, the players and the stuffed jackset suits running the place.
Burn the place down and start somewhere else to ensure no contamination.

I do not think any of the franchise coaches - bar the Lions - deserve to be franchise coaches,,

However there is another problem and that is the new Bulls and Sharks coaches suffered because of the squads they inherited from their predecessors, White was clueless about backline play and the Bulls backline suffered as a result,

So White recruited Le Roux, Pollard and Serfontein Looked good on paper - but all three were past it. Serfontein already retired - Willie is out of the Springbok squad and Pollard is not the good pivot he used to be.. The Bulls forwards are solid their backline is a farce and it is likely to show it again on Saturday.

Pinetree was even worse, The Sharks invested heavily on two players - namely Etzebeth and Kolisi leaving the squad with a malfunctioning backline. Fassie went off the boil and the only other proven players of some quality was Williams and JJ with Fassie being off the boil in the past year. There is a real reason why the Sharks did so poorly in the. There is a very real reason why the Sharks did so badly in the 2025-26 RWC - it was due to the contracting of geriatrics and incompetent players being retained,

Maaik...the Bools and Stormers are consistently in the URC playoffs...the Bools made it to almost all the finals ...the Stormers made it to 2 finals and they won one, and were competitive in 2 other semifinals...and the Lions are improving is almost right up there with them.... it's not as bad as some on this board seems to think...
